How a commission works

Every Polin guitar is built to order. This is the path from first email to having the instrument in your hands.

    Spec

    Head to the configurator and start designing your custom guitar. Don't worry about having all the answers, submit the spec and we can take it from there.

    Reserve your build slot

    I'll give the spec a once-over and answer any questions you may have. An £800 deposit reserves your place in the build queue.

  3. 3

    Consultation

    We'll have a video call to talk through your spec, iron out any issues, answer questions, and explore any custom options not captured in the configurator. I'll then follow up with a firm price.

  4. 4

    The build

    When your build slot comes up, I'll get started. I share progress photos and regular updates at each stage of the build, so you are a part of the process from start to finish. Builds typically take 4-6 months.

  5. 5

    Delivery

    The balance is settled, then your instrument is shipped fully insured in a fitted flightcase.
